Individuals with memory loss are invited to participate for FREE, along with a friend, family member or care partner, in engaging conversations inspired by art and theater. Each program includes a creative, art-making activity. Traditionally, this event series takes place the fourth Thursday of every month at The Playhouse at White Lake. Free of charge, but advance registration through this link is required.
Winter Preschool Dance- Magical Little Movers (3-5 years)
with Hannah Jurcich
Saturdays for one hour each week. Four sessions for $66. Presentation on the last Saturday at the end of the term,details tba. Guided by WLYT STAFF. Dancing and playful movement can be a wonderful experience for children of all ages, and our preschool dance classes for students ages 3, 4 and 5 will help our little movers find the magic in their own bodies through movement patterns that support your child in staying active in a fun, exciting way. This wonderful course for early childhood can light the spark of love for movement of all kids and empower kids through confidence building and creative play in a safe and healthy, non-competetive group setting. All genders welcome and no experience required.
Winter Acting, but BIGGER (for Teens 12-18 years)

Saturdays for one hour each week. Four sessions for $66. Presentation on the final Saturday at the end of the term This exciting course introduces students to the theatre as a live, performing art. Honing character development, students and their peers will explore voice, movement, listening, and intention as they work to develop rich characters onstage. Through scene work and experience engaging in acting principles, actors will explore stage directions, proper articulation and projection, creative drama, stage placement and improvisation. Taught by WLYT Staff.
Winter Creative Movement (6-12 years)
with Hannah Jurcich
Saturdays for one hour each week. Four sessions for $66. Presentation on the final Saturday at the end of the term, details tba. Explore everything from musical theater to creative movement, bringing stories to life through choreography and experimentation. Students will be given a weekly creative movement challenge and time to try out group choreography with storytelling through dance, so they can leave with a better understanding of embodying their character and themselves. This is for all the movers and shakers, and those who still have yet to claim their inner dancers. It will be packed with laughs, play and wildly bright imagination. Guided by WLYT staff.
Winter Creative Drama (5-8 years)
with Andrea Holmes
Saturdays for one hour each week. Four sessions for $66. Presentation on the final Saturday of the term, details tba. Encourage your child to imagine, enact, and reflect on their experiences, both real and imagined, with this fun-filled theatre session. Creative drama is an improvisational, fun and festive, process-oriented kind of drama, where our youngest actors are guided by an engaging instructor to embrace their creativity and celebrate their desire to play. Taught by WLYT Staff.
Winter Let's Make a Scene (9-12 years)

Saturdays for one hour each week. Four sessions for $66. Presentation on the final Saturday at the end of the term, at 11:45 a.m. Kids will jump happily into this high-energy workshop as they learn the rules of improv to create amazing theatre scenes on the spot and through rehearsals over four weeks together. let them discover the joy of being silly and unscripted in this small class size which allows for a safe and encouraging place to play. No experience—or right answers—required. Guided by Katie Trusty and Alexx Evergreen.
